If you are aged 16 to 40 and suffer from eyestrain or headaches from computer use, the Institute of Optometry near Elephant & Castle would like to hear from you.

Eyestrain from computers? Institute of Optometry seeks volunteers

Researchers at the IOO hope that their work may improve comfort, accuracy and productivity.

Volunteers for the study will be given a free detailed eye examination to find causes of eyestrain.

Researchers will provide a report describing solutions and will tell you whether you are eligible for a clinical trial later in the year of new glasses for computer eyestrain. If suitable, you would receive these free of charge.

For more information, please contact Dr Robert Yammouni & Professor Bruce Evans on [email protected] or 020 7407 4183 ext 662 (Mon-Thu).

The Institute of Optometry's history in Newington Causeway stretches back 95 years to 1922 when it was founded as the London Refraction Hospital.
