The incident happened at about 8pm outside the London College of Communication.

Police, fire and ambulance crews all rushed to the scene.

A similar crash occurred at the nearby southern junction in 2007.

In 2010 another of the now-closed subways at the southern junction was filled with gravel when a lorry ploughed through the barriers.
