Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Weekend in SE1: Saturday 2 June 2012
With the Queen at Epsom for the Derby, Saturday was a day of preparations for the next day's river pageant.
The first campers arrived on Bankside on Friday. By Saturday afternoon at least 10 tents had been pitched
Broadcasters from around the world had camera positions in Potters Fields Park
The Jubilee Sailing Trust's tall ship Tenacious was moored near Butler's Wharf as part of the Avenue of Sail
The Kathleen and May, also moored near Butler's Wharf for the Jubilee festivities, is no stranger to SE1, having spent many years at St Mary Overie Dock, Bankside
